Proprio li, in quella enorme piazza, che fino a poco tempo fa era anonima e vuota, adesso sorge questo monumento.
La Berlino di allora, ha provato a cancellare ogni traccia di quel periodo, ma la memoria per fortuna è ancora viva.
Heavy Weather is a legendary jazz fusion band alongside with Mahavishnu Orchestra, Return to Forever, and Miles Davis’ Electric Band. Led by Joe Zawinul from the beginning and then became more popular since Jaco Pastorious joined the band, this band had done so many formation-changing in 16 years of their career.
Birdland is their biggest hit which is in the first track from their most successful album, Heavy Weather. So propulsive, danceable, and energetic, this song became a pop hit and later became a jazz standard.
